michael salmons
After studies at the FIT in NYC for interior design, Michael Salmons began travelling the countries of Scandanavia. There he was inspired by the mid century classic designs of the region. Upon returning to New York, he opened up H55 in the Meatpacking District. Some of the designers he represented were: Borge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjoerholm, along with many others.
In 2004, Michael relocated to Costa Rica. He then launched his own interior design business, completing many different projects for expatriates in high-end residential homes. After purchasing his own home in San Jose, he then remodeled it and subsequently was published in SuCasa. He has also been featured and reviewed by numerous magazines including, Wallpaper, InStyle, and Elle Decor.
